What happened?  Was this fishing related?

I got stung for the 1st time by a sculpin last week.
Luckily, the pain was gone the next morning.  Is that the case with stingrays too?

Must be, it's posted in "Fishing Chat".

Blisters are way more gnarly now. Basically my whole knuckle is 1/4 inch bigger. Pretty sure I overdid the hot water. At least it stopped the pain.

Damn dude, are the Round Rays more venomous than the Bats? And to answer your question Ray, getting tagged by a ray hurts exponentially more than a sculpin. It feels like the whole area where you got hit has a broken bone in it. Plus, at least in my case, took about 4 months for the hole to finally seal up. Be careful guys, not a fun experience at all!
