Kind of funny looking, but I'm hoping the shape keeps it from rolling in the surf.

I still need to cap off the ends and attach the rope. Hoping this increases my odds in the surf and bay. Critiques are very welcomed.

It's not as big as the picture makes it appear. I plan on grabbing it by one of the "legs" and giving it a heave.

Wouldn't be surprised if a 7 swam off with it

.

That would be cool! Gives me an idea! Maybe try it during the day and mount my old GoPro on it and see what happens. Obviously, that'll only work if nothing swims off with it  ;)

That's called polluting, not chumming.

Previously mentioned that I still need to attach rope and end caps. Will finish tomorrow after another visit to Home Depot.

I'm intrigued.  I could never convince myself that a chummer would work in the surf, but I'm looking forward to seeing what it does for you Mike.

Good, Bad or Indifferent, I always love when people experiment for certain types of fishing.  It paints a much bigger picture.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
