Private housing lake 2/13

Fished with the gf for a couple hours

Soaked fly lined hot dogs on the bass rod

Caught this cat



Couldn't find the digital scale. Clearly over 10 but under 12

Felt nice catchin something since I got skunked in the bay the day prior

Congrats they are my favorite fish to target.

Prefer ones that are 5 lbs or less for eating. Bloody baits like chicken livers are like popcorn to small ones. Larger fish cut bait is better.
