Prior to the Surgeon Visit (3/18)
« on: March 18, 2015, 07:44:44 PM »
I had a few hours to kill in the morning before I had to head off to my Dr appointment, so I decided to toss around the little rod.

Lots of traditional spots hit for little and finally switched up lures and location.  Did the typical bass shuffle.  Walk 20 yards and catch a few bass.  All quiet and walk 40 yards before I hit a few bass in a small streak.  Nothing big, but they ranged from 10-13 inches.

I did manage 12 and lost 4 more so it was a good bass trip.

I kept switching up the baits and locations before I finally got my silver.

I had a needlefish pretty early on the topwater and missed another, but I'm happy with this 3.5 hour session.  Nothing huge, but all fun.   :D

OK damn it... I need to get in on this 7 action!  Surgery is next month and I have TWO blown out discs....

At least the surgery is all arthroscopic and I will only have 3-4 one inch holes cut in me.  I can deal with that!    8)
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

WTG on the Silvah!!! Been waiting for them to wake up. I'm sure Phong still does double digits in his sleep.

Looks like fun.  8) 8)

I just started working the top water lure, I have yet to get a strike on one. I will keep at it! You had a nice session there Tom! Nice silver bullet.

Glad to see you at least scratching a little of the itch Tom!
It's all Tom and Don's fault! They "hooked" me on mud marlins and sharks!
