I had a chance to hit the sand last night. The rest of my Thursday Night Grinner Crew couldn't make it out. So, I hit a local beach and landed this nice Soupfin. It hit on an incoming tide and a center cut of bullet tuna from Seafood City. I didn't have a tape measure, so all I can say is, she was chunky with bite marks.

That looks like a chore to land by yourself, congrats ! 8)

Great to see you got some local soup!! Is that a tail rope I see?

RIGHT ON DRE! Congrats boss!
I just saw your PM, but see you figured it out. I didn't check the site yesterday as I was out fishing myself, but hell of a catch. Bullet tuna is some of my favorite bait to use when it's available.

thinking 7 G on the bite White would have taken it

That looks like a pretty big jaw mark. If it's a 7-gill, it's a big momma!

It was a bit of a chore since I did not have a headlamp that night.
