Star gazing 12/7/16
« on: December 08, 2016, 01:08:19 PM »
That's about all we did for 4 hours last night without so much as a twitch from either rod  :(
No surf, no current, not one strand of salad, and no freaking fish!
Hopefully tonight will be better!
As far as the stars go, what is the giant orange/yellow star/planet to the southwest that moved north? Super bright!  I thought it was a plane heading straight at us for the longest time.

Sounds like a bad luck star with how your night went  ;) When you see it up in the sky, go back home.

Hey Chad, I saw the same thing on Tuesday and even asked Steve if it was a plane or a planet.  I thought it was Venus and confirmed it when I opened up Google Sky and there it was, clear as day.  Venus.

I'm looking forward to your other post this morning.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

I think your right Mike!  I didn't see it last night and my luck was much better!

Venus!? How cool! I didn't know it was that visible.
I'll get last nights report up on a bit.
