Dananananananana Bat Ray

The illustrations of the sensory organs are pretty neat.  No wonder they have no problem finding food even though their eyes are on the tops of their heads.

One thing though... 6' (72") wide Max at only 200 pounds?  Steve and I measured a 54" at 125ish pounds I think.  My 60" was ungodly heavy but most likely not 200.  Chris' 62" was probably around the 200# mark... but I guess the only way to know for sure is to bring down the scale and sling again!  In any case, another 10" would seem to make that ray much heavier than 200, and probably closer to 250.  Time to check mt data charts at home....

Good data, just need more to feel more comfortable in the heavy weight class.

I feel like the difference is in how measurement is taken. A tape flat on the ground under the bat would measure different from one laid over the top. That extra couple inches could be poundage.

I'll bring it.  I just hope the canvas sling hasn't dry rotted from no use the last few years.
