Falling Apart
« on: February 07, 2021, 06:21:53 AM »
Still recovering from a total Hip replacement and now both shoulders are toast  :o : I got 2 cortisone shots in each shoulder last week and follow up in 6 weeks for MRI to determine if surgery is around the corner . Looks like I will be joining Tom with no high fives or pats on the back, it hurts too damn bad :(  My AC joints are bone on bone and a spur which is tearing the rotator cuff if I understood the surgeon correctly. Arthritis and old age come around fast after 30 years of operating heavy equipment. Gotta keep moving and stay active, I got things to do and fish to catch ;D

Yikes Tim!  You are a mess! (just having fun)

One day you are shortening the outfield fence at Petco Park, and the next, they are rebuilding you with titanium!  6-million dollar man indeed!

You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Good luck to you.

Had both shoulders repaired years ago.

Hurts every now and then for no reason at all.

I stopped calling repaired football players pu$$y's when they came back after eight weeks and could not make plays.

It is never the same after surgery.

getting old plus 30 years of operating heavy equipment

I forget how lucky I am Tim.  32 years repairing heavy equipment and going on 71 years old, but aside from some minor arthritis I feel good.  I hope all works out for you my man....................

Thanks , guys. Construction is rough on the body and I ain't 21 anymore so I will see what the Doc says in 6 weeks. Hopefully I can deal with it a little longer and get in some fun stuff this summer and worry about it next year  ??? ???
