Bluefin Tuna may now be taken in Mexican waters. The daily bag limit will be 2 per angler with a max of 6 per trip as reported by Fisherman’s Landing located in the heart of San Diego’s long range fishing fleet in Point Loma. The bag limit went to zero fish back in late 2014 with concerns of the local crash of the Pacific Bluefin Tuna populations. This is welcomed news for US anglers looking to head back down into Mexico in the hunt for tuna as this endless offshore season keeps chugging along.
